In 2021, we were approached by the producers of BBC’s ‘Money For Nothing’. They had seen our Instagram and knew that the amazing products they had on offer would be right up our street!

Amongst the products, we found the most amazing accent chair by a UK upholsterer, Leigh-Anne Treadwell. We were attracted by the unique shapes and patterns that have been created in the framework, fabric and modern legs.

The chair was found at the recycling centre by Money For Nothing Presenter Sarah Moore. She saw that there was another life to be given to this well-loved chair, and who better to take it to, than the very talented Leigh-Anne to give it a completely new look.

Leigh-Anne wanted to create a Maximalist Look, using a fun fabric, with turquoise piping and hairpin legs, she created a modern and angular piece of furniture which will last the test of time. The fabric she used for the project is by Independent Designer – Jericho Design House.

Robert from BBC came to Tiger Bleu to deliver our new purchase and film for the day. We had a lot of fun talking about the chair and fitting it into our space, ready for it to be adored by our customers.

This chair is a real head turner and is now for sale at Tiger Bleu, currently taking pride of place in our shop window in Loughborough Town Centre.
